Reuben Angle brother to Joseph Y. Angle was my husbands gg-grandfather. Reuben married Martha (last name unknown)prob. abt. 1855. Reuben is on the 1860 Cherokee AL census with three children, Mary Ann, Martha J., Joseph W. Martha the wife not listed. They had a son, William, born in 1860 and it could be she was staying with a relative until or after giving birth. Reuben evidently died during the Civil War or shortly after. Martha remarried abt. 1868 to Thomas A. Broyles and they had a son, James T. Broyles b. abt. 1869.
