Hi Pat,
I never received a reply to my July 27th message to Susan Pickett, and still have no idea where the info that Naomi's maiden name was Palmer came from.
I went to Saratoga County last Fall, hoping to find something in the Palmer file at the county historian's office. Found nothing that indicated any Palmer family had a Naomi, but that doesn't mean her name wasn't Palmer. Wish we knew where that information came from. There were several different Palmer families living in Northumberland and
Wilton, in Saratoga County during the time Peter & Naomi Angle lived there. One set of Palmer families came from Stonington, CT. Another set of Palmer families came from Dutchess County, NY.

Nicholas Angle and son William were in NJ through the Revolutionary War. They moved to Saratoga about l785, the last time they were on the Bedminister tax list, and the same year their grist mill was sold.
I have alot of information on our Angle family in NJ and Saratoga, and find no possible connection to any Angle family in Franklin County, VA. What information do you have that makes you think the families might be related?
Would you like copies of the photos I took of Rebecca & William Angle's grave stones while I was in Saratoga?
