I have not had any success hunting down my family name. My father and I were estranged, but before he passed on he said he was born in Abbeville, Louisiana on 13 Nov 1897. But, he listed his fathers name as Eugene Noel and his mothers name as Elodie Gastal. In searching through their family records, there is no mention of my fathers name (Leos Lucien de Angury) and they had 13 children. This lead me to believe he was either taken in or acquired from someone. The name is pronounced as Angieri but even at that I can find no record of anyone with that name. Can anyone help me?
