I'm afraid I am looking much more recently than that. We have discovered that my father's (he is now 80) real mother was Daisy Maud Angier and she came from Brighton. She was born February 1888 and died 1924. Her parents were called John Robert and Florence Jane Angier. More than that we don't have yet but we have only just started searching. Apologies if this is nothing to do with your branch of the family but I'd be grateful for any leads you might have if it is the same one. Angier certainly appears to be a rare name in this country!
Looking forward to hearing from you.
