No Barbara (babby) is not Louella's child. I don't think she was ever in Germany. She is Frances and Mr. Simmons (I don't know his first name). She had 5 children by him and she only changed her last name for the sake of the kids, but never married Mr. simmons. She and Ollie are still legally married, just separated 56 years. Babby and Sherrill are the only two living children left from Mr. Simmons and Frances. Babby also lives in Brooklyn as well as Frances. If you would like that info, I will email it to you. I will also send you some pics
Now Lisa, tell me where Elmer fits in. I remember my sister talking about him too, but all she remembers is that he was very old!
Do you have birthdates for any of the people you have in your list? Also you asked how far I was able to go back and I looked at Ancestry.com and they go back about 7 generations from William James. Our roots are indeed from France where the Angevine castle is.
