I don't have any more on your Peter Angevine than what I've read in Clyde Angevine's book and what is on Rootsweb's World Connect Project. The other Peter Angevine was my fourth-great grandfather (not fifth). He was born Jul. 25, 1779 and died Apr. 27, 1852. He was a captain of the Dutchess County Militia and in the War of 1812. He was a son of Joseph Angevine, a Revolutionary War soldier (Dutchess County Militia, 7th NY Regiment), and Margaret Angevine; grandson of Pierre Peter and Abigail (Williams) Angevine; great-grandson of Pierre the immigrant and Marguerite de Bonrepos.

Capt. Peter Angevine first married Sarah Conklin/Conklyn and after her death married his cousin Esther Purdy. Esther was the daughter of Isaac Purdy Jr. and Susannah Angevine, the daughter Eli Angevine and Charity (Bonet) Purdy, granddaughter of Pierre Angevine and Marguerite deBonrepos, immigrants from France.
Esther Purdy died in Westchester County in 1825 and then he moved to Royalton, Niagra County.
