I am researching Jeremiah Angell's line as follows:Jeremiah=>Horace=>Oliver S. => Fred => Oliver S.
Horace Angell was born in New Ashford Mass., I do not know where he married ( in 1839. Lydia's birthplace is listed as NY on the 1850 Michigan census. I found an old book of surnames in the Michigan State Library that said "Oliver S. Angell, son of Horace, was born 1844 in Plymouth Michigan". Plymouth is a suburb of Detroit.
Horace's son Oliver married Cornelia P. Durfee, who was born in Palmyra NY, which is just down the road from Marion. They married in Marion NY on Feb 13, 1871. Marion and Palmyra NY are both in Wayne County NY. (They have a web page). Apparently part of the family went on to Michigan, and some stayed behind.
I have a copy of Jeremiah and Ruth Angell's bible records, if you are interested.
I am VERY interested in sharing information on this line, and would welcome any help you can give me.
