Hi Sue, Well, oh dear that certainly confuses things doesn't it Sue? It just seems strange that both your line & Merle's line mention Mrs/Mary Hawkins. Do you think John & Joseph could have been earlier children of the marriage if the John & Mary who had Henry were a different family? Sue,do you have a copy of John or Mary's death cert or will stating their children's names? Yes I'm also an Angell descendant but through the female lines. I'm through William Angell married Elizabeth Gosson line through either their son William who had a daughter, Mary who married John Dickham in 1722 or William's sister Frances Browne & on through Elizabeth Browne who married John's brother, William Ditcham in 1731. Unfortunately, so far records haven't contained enough information to be able to trace exactly which brother but I live in hope that something will turn up. Regards, Narelle.
