My grandmother Doris Kalthleen Allery of Devon 1902 reported that when she was a girl a news paper article in the Dartmouth and South chronicle 'The Angell Estate' missing link found in Dartmouth. Her uncle had returned from America and had been collecting signatures which would he believed give providence to the unclaimed fortune. He took possession of properties in London and began collecting the rents. however, he mysteriously died when he only needed one more signature. He reportedly left the documents with Sir William Whiteway solicitor. however, as the article was lost we did not follow this story up, until my grandmothers death when the news paper cutting was found. I have tried to search for references to Alleries but have so far not found any can you help?
