Greetings I am an English descendant of William Angell - the Fishmonger to the Court who died in 1629 in London and came from Peakirk in Northamptonshire. I have a lot of information on this family - mainly derived from English sources. One hazy link is Thomas Angell, one of the founders of Rhode Island, whilst he has been dismissed as a member of my family of Angells I am still not sure - having dug up a relationship by marriage between my Angells and Roger Williams another, perhaps more famous founder of Rhode Island. This family had connections with Surrey, Kent, Wales, Ireland, Northamptonshire, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Bedfordshire, Dorset, Isle of Wight, Devon, and the City of London. In addition there were three brothers from this family who left the family following the Civil War (English) severing all ties and not collecting their considerable inheritance. Please let me know if I could be of any help. Vanessa Trampleasure
