I would like comments on the two competing lines of descent to William Garton. Does anyone have documentation, esp. of the second line? Thanks

George Thompson, with consent of his wife, Cleare, nassigned 200 acres of land to William Angell on 26 July 1659 with witnesses Hugh Brentt and Hugh Jordon. On the same day, George gave a power of attorney to his loving friend Hugh Brentt to acknowledge the half sold to Angell and the other half belonging to the relect of Thomas Howyak. (George returned to England where he died).

Notes for Margaret Angell:
In the book "Immigrants to the New World, 1600's-1800's," there is a Margaret Angells on a passenger listed dated 11 May 1637, sailing from Sandwich, England to the "Plantations of America." She is listed as a servant of Nicholas Butler.
