Unable to connect with your Angell and her Slawson marriage. However, I do have some details on another Angell clan resident in Southwark at the same time.
Thomas Angell a citizen of London and a Vintner was the son of William of Wigton in Norfolk, he married Joan Pestale at St. Georges Southwark in 1610.
This is the right period, the right name and the right place. Was your Mr. Slawson a merchant? This would put them in the same social group as well as the same area and name.
