DNA test

Hello folks.
I'm hoping this might help others, that might in turn give me some info.
I did a DNA test and the first person that shows as a match is person claiming that his first relative of record is Thomas Angell circa 1618 in London, England. That's matching 32 markers with 1 genetic distance. Meaning, there is a 95% probability we had a common ancestor in 1700 or so.
The majority of the other matches were the Glendenning/Glendinning family from Dumfriesshire Scotland.
My ancestors, the Mavity's, came from Ulster in 1765 to VA.

If anybody has Glendenning, Mavity, Elliot, or Vance in their histories, I would love to chat.

Thanks
Brian Mavity
