Beryl

I am finding your messages most facinating given that my mother's maiden name was Angell. Indeed she had a sister Beryl. They both lived in Dorchester, Dorset. Here my Grandfather built up a building business and imported and sold some of the first Aga cookers in the UK. I have traced our Angell ancesters back to the late 1700s and learned that many lived in and around Radstock, Edington and Midsomer Norton. One has a name of Moses Angel and there is another Moses Angel who was hanged for murder in Steeple Ashton. The assizes report indicates that he did not do it.
Do your ancestors in and around Calne link up with mine. Indeed do you have any information on the poor Moses who was hanged. Does he fit into one of our trees?

Thank you
David Higgins
