It seems likely that John, if in the VA area would be the descendent of Uriah. He had a son Charles. There are at least two Charles that could be the son. One apparently went on to South Carolina which I know nothing. The other b 1740 or so shows up in MD, Frederick and was among other things a farmer and possibly a lawyer since he seems to have been involved in the MD political doings of the time. Would love to know more one way or the other.
