I am not aware of a Samuel (b.1706) in RI. I am working on making a connection back to RI, but I'm currently stuck in Allegany Co., NY with Charles Giles Angel (b. 1823). Could you give me a little more info on the line you are working. I have resorted to trying to understand the descendancy from Thomas on into the 19th century as much as possible, and you mention a line I am unfamiliar with.
