I'm Rafe Angell. I'm looking for information on my grandfather, RALPH ALEXANDER ANGELL, his ancestors, and collateral relatives (and descendants, if he had any other than my father).

Best information I have says that Ralph A. Angell was born in New York state, possibly near Albany, in or around 1904. His father was also named Ralph (or possibly Ranulph) Alexander Angell.

Sometime starting in the late 1930's, Ralph Angell II spent about a decade in Venezuela, where he met my grandmother, Mary Ramirez. They had one child, their son, Ralph Alexander born May 19, 1932. (Yes, it's not original, but we are proud of the name.)

My father (III) last saw his father (II) on December 24, 1940, at age 8. Ralph II died during the course of the war, and apparently was returned to the States.

Any information you or anyone else has would be greatly appreciated.
