The wealthy Browne-Angells of Calne (there is a large group of Calne Angells - no relation - who were not so wealthy) also owned property in Binfield, Berkshire.

There was a John Charles Browne Angell (1813-1878) who died in Calne. He was married to Sophia Paterson (1814-1874)and were married in Exeter. They had a son John Benedict Oliver Angell(1839-1924)who married Charlotte Cumming (1860c-1897) and had a large brood. None of these were John Charles, but they were all born in the 1870s. Charlotte died in Calne but John Benedict who outlived her ended his days in Folkestone.

Hope this helps
