Gage of 1571 I too am a granddaughter of Thomas Angell. I visited Providence twice in the last ten years to do geneology research on our family line. My grandfather, Thomas Caleb Angell, was the first Angell in my line to leave Providence. My father, also Thomas Angell grew up in Dundee, Illinois, and I grew up in Wheaton. It is fascinating to see all the Angell "relatives" on the Internet! I now live in Israel, and reading all the Angell information makes me feel close to home again.
