I am seeking information about the parents of Joseph Andrus who was born about 1754; served in the American Revolution; married Mercy Dart in Bolton, New London, CT and died on August 21, 1832 in West Stockbridge. Somewhere I had in my notes that his father was a Benjamin; is this correct? Who was his mother?
According to the Revolution Pension records, this Joseph and Mercy had the following children:
Mercy, Joseph, Timothy, Daniel Dart, Ebenezer and Laura Ann.
Any further information and or a clarification would be gratefully appreciated.
