Theophile was the only child of his father John and his mother Mary Collins. His mother Mary died shortly after
his birth.
Theophile married Eloise Philippe Richard on 23 Nov 1824 in Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, LA. Eloise was born
9 Sep 1810 in Opelousas. She died 13 December 1842 in
Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, LA.
They had the following children:
Marie Andrus, born 17 Nov 1825 in Opelousas, St. Landry.
Eugenie Andrus, born 20 Sep 1827 in Opelousas, St. Landry.
Elisa Andrus, born 9 Mar 1830 in Opelousas, St. Landry.
Jean Philippe Andrus, born 16 July 1832.
Adolphe Andrus, born 30 Dec 1834 in Grand Coteau, St. Landry
Benjamin T. Andrus, born 10 Aug 1837.
Louis Andrus, born 23 Apr 1840 in Grand Coteau, St. Landry.
