Joshua Andrews appears on land records with Palmer Andrus/Andrews/Andress, so seems definitely related to Palmer. Is he Palmer's first son? Is Joshua the "one male under 16" on the 1828 Assessment/census form for Palmer Andrews? (There were no children under 16 not on the form two years earlier, so possibly Joshua was born between 1826 and 1828).
Also a Richard Andrews on the same land records in Haldimand Twp., Northumberland County, Ontario. Might he also be a son of Palmer Andrus?
I'm looking for any information on these folks: perhaps a marriage record for Joshua or Richard which would name his parents. Any help appreciated!
