I just found the answer to my own quest for information posted yesterday. The father of James Harrison Andrus was Archibald Andrus who was born in Halifax Co. Virginia and who died in Graves Co. Kentucky in 1842. His wife was Frances Bennett. Archibald moved to Graves Co. Kentucky in 1828. Frances Bennett died a few years after Archibald's death.
