Hi Mic, I think that the John Charles Andrus that you mentioned is indeed my Great Grandfather. The dates and middle name are correct. Perhaps the name Whealey was misused as Wheatley in the census form and yes, I would like to have what information you can give me on that name. Ellen Whealey (or Wheatley) was born in 1847 in Vermon. She was married to John Charles Andrus. Is it possible to get a copy of the census that might identify these two people? I appreciate your reply to my inquiry, I hadn't expected such a quick response. Thanks a lot,
