I don't know if these are the same people.
I am a descendant of Benjamin and Marie Hargrave Andrus' oldest son (James Andrus, born circa 1758 in North Carolina or Virginia). I have info on the Benjamin and Marie family (who were married in 1757 according to my research) as it traces to my generation. It appears that they moved to La. before 1780. Any info on Benjamin and Marie's ansectors would be greatly appreciated.
My records show the children of Benjamin and Marie as follows:
James born 1758 (married Lucy Hayes of St. Landry Parish in 1779).
Joseph born 1760
Benjamin born 1762
Elizabeth Isabelle born 1764
Solomon born 1766
John Baptiste born 1768
Sarah Celeste born 1770
Susanne born 1771
David born 1779
Susanne and David were baptized on Sept. 8, 1780 in St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, La.
