Looking for information about Jacob Andrus (aka Jacob Andrews), d. 24 Dec 1802, age 79 and wife Ruth, d. 19 Jan 1796 age 75; both buried Dean Cemetery, Lebanon, Columbia Co., NY. Probably the Jacob Andrus whose will was probated in 1803 as Jacob Andrews of Canaan, Columbia County, NY. Will lists sons Joseph, Silas, and Benjamin; daughters Content, Abigail, Rhoda.
The following Columbia Co. records may refer to the above Andrus or Andrews children:
Ana Andrews bapt. 1776, son of Benjamin + Lydia
Ruth Andrews bapt. 1781, daughter of Benjamin + Lydia
George Holdridge Andrews bapt. 1783, son of Benjamin + Lydia
Rachel Andrews bapt 1784, daughter of Silas Andrews
Can't place any in this family. All clues/hints/help appreciated!
