Yes, I have some things to add. From whom do you descend? Also, I haven't found an Elizabeth that married a Butler before with child Dana. The eldest child of David and Martha was Nancy Adline Andrews b. 1824 and she married William H.Butler. Four of the children married in Monroe Co. MS. Nancy Adline married while they lived in Fayette Co.AL. See Fayette Co.AL Rootsweb, Pilgrims Rest Church HIstory. Four of them married in Itawamba Co.Ms. This county joins Monroe Co MS. 2 married in Lee County MS. David W. Andrews published a Journal in 1885 Fayette Co.AL called "A preachers Looking Glass" Two years later in 1887 he died. His book says he baptised all his daughters, and two sons. One son became a preacher, Absolum Andrews. He died in a Baptist Retirement Home in Wharton,TX in 1922. There was three girls that I cannot find what happened to them after 1870 and 1880 census. Mary Andrews born 1829 married Asberry West in Monroe Co MS in 1848 and he died 1849, no children, and she was in the 1860 Itawamba Co. MS census in the hh with father, David W. Do you know where the 2 wives of David W.is buried. Rebecca would have died when they were in Lee Co MS, after 1870 before 1880. Sarah Hasseltine Stillman Andrews was on the l900 Fayette Census in the hh of her brother, John Stillman. Since Francis D. Andrews was in thehh with David and Sarah, she was age 21 or 31, I wondered if she had a handicap and needed to be taken care of. I will have my notes together and go by each child that I have info on. David was in a different census every 10 years after he left SC. He lived many trials and troubles. He came to Tuscaloosa Al about 1834, (joins Fayette Co AL) then to Monroe Co. MS 1850, Itawamba Co MS 1860, Lee County MS 1870, back to Fayette Co AL 1880. Notify Administrator about this message?
