St. Charles (Kane County, Illinois) Chronicle, Oct. 3, 1902, Local Notes: F.M. Underwood and W.C. Andrews were the victims of sneak thieves Monday night. They left their carpenter tools at Harry Matteson's new house on East Fifth street, where they were working and the next morning the tools were missing. The loss was about $16 for Mr. Underwood and half that amount for Mr. Andrews. Home talent is suspected. (Posted as a courtesy, not related.)
