This is not my Andrews family, but I did find some information for you. I found the US Confederate Pension application for F. M. Andrews living in Washington County, Texas in 1899. He lists his name as Francis Marion Andrews age 62. He applied for the pension in the State of Texas on May 13, 1899. He enlisted in the Confederacy on January 15, 1863 and served until the close of the war. He served in the Calvary, Company E, Baylor Regiment, Medfor's (not sure of the spelling) Brigade, Texas Troops. He states the command was originally organized in Texas and he was wounded from a gun shot while in the Army and was unable to work. Hope this helps and good luck with your research.
