Could anyone help me find my great grandfather? I have no idea what his name was, but his wife's name was Mary Elizabeth (LNU)b.1823. They had these children that I am sure of:
Sarah b. ca 1858, Martha (Mattie) b. ca 1860, Emily (Emma) b. 1862 and Joseph (Joe) H. b. Dec. 1864. Family members also have stated that there were 2 other sons named Sam and John.
I only have the 1870 census of Mobile Co., AL with Elizabeth and the 4 children-Sarah, Martha, Emily and Joseph.
Joseph married a Braxton, in Bay Minette, AL.
