Robert, My g-g-grandfather was named Phillip Joseph Andres. He was born around 1823 (I've heard May 1, 1823)in the Alsace-Lorraine region of France. He came to the US in the mid 1800's. He settled in Ohio in 1841. He married Elmira Jones around 1848. My brother has the exact dates but I don't have them with me at the moment. Does he appear in any of your records?
