Jean, I just tonight saw your 2001 post on Plan, Bohemia families. I would be interested in e-mailing with you about anything you know about the area. My grandfather, Edward Ortman, immigrated at age 3 with his parents and siblings, in about 1883, from Plan, Bohemia. I do have quite a bit of info on Ortmans (my grandfather's ancestors) from Plan, but I am always looking for more information on the genealogy of the town and my family Ortmann.
