James -- I know that Cyrus and two of his sons, Hans and Colestin, emigrated in 1885/1886 and settled in Tonawanda (don't know which, village or city). They were Protestant, from Alsace Lorraine (and prior to that, Bohemia). My great-grandfather, Johan-Hans, came over separately with one of his brothers (Al or Alese) and settled downstate in NYC area. I know nothing of the upstate Andres except their names and the date of emigration (one of my cousins forwarded a group photo taken in the '30s that is in the database at Ellis Island). Let me know if you come across anything...
