Isn't the computer the most incredible invention! We lived in Los Angeles in the 70's and had the great fortune to spend time with Martha Andre Fuller and her sister, Irene Andre Baird.Have you run across any of Martha's research on the Andre family?I haven't, but I know that it is out there somewhere...They gave a sampler made by one of our ancestors to the Galliopolis [?] museum. For the life of me,I can not remember who made it.I think that it may have been Jane Cadot.Unfortunately,I was in my early 20's when we were there and not very interested in genealogy.I truly regret that now! They are both dead-had no children and had many old family photos and momentos. They did give me a platter that they called the "Old French Platter".It had been passed down to them by there mother who was an Andre. They said that it came with them when they immigrated to America. What is the name of the church that you mentioned? Is there any possibility that you can find out what museum they donated the sampler to?I would love to share information with you.Sincerely, Kay Marie
