I am a descendant of Peter Francois Andre through his daughter Sophia, who married Thomas Powell. Their daughter Lucina married Francis Powers Jr, moved to Greenup County, KY, where he died. She and here 3 children returned to Sciot County until she died in 1861. The three children were scattered, ending up in Illinois, Michigan and Missouri as various family members took them in. It has taken us many years to unravel this as each branch had bits and pieces of the story. I now have Lucina's bible records and a sampler made by her sister, Julia Ann (who married Clinton Marshall). Scioto County must have been a very unhealthy place in the early 1800's as many people seem to have died young and I find their children living with relatives. The family certainly scattered throughout the US.
