ANDRE family originally from Belfort France, immigrated to Darke County Ohio, then to New Hope / Fort Wayne Indiana, from there to Chicago. Have found roots back to Jean Claude ANDRE b. 1765, married to Cathherine THEVENAT. Jacques ANDRE b. 1833 (aks Jacob or James) married to Marie FRANTZ in Versailles, Ohio. Would appreciate any help with the Andre family in France. Thanks.
