Jean-Baptiste André-St-Amand + Angélique Parent

Does anyone have any information about the origins of this couple?

We believe that Jean-Baptiste André dit St-Amand married Angélique Parent in the 1830s or so, somewhere in the area of southern Quebec. They are shown as the parents of a Marie-Zélie André dit St-Amand, who married in 1866, at St-Polycarpe, to Isaïe Blondin-Sureau. This later couple migrated to the area of Tiny Township, Ontario, shortly afterwards. They were enumerated in the 1881 census, although his name is recorded as Issy Blondin.

Thanks for any advice or suggestions.
