Andrade and the Yaqui Indians of the Sonora Mtn. in Mexico

We have been told that my husband's ancestors came to the sonora mountains from Portugual. They purchased land that turned out to be Yaqui land. Someone married into the Yaqui tribe. We don't know how many generations back. My husbands grandfather was born in the Yaqui tribe, his name was Jose Masias Andrade. He told stories about fighting with Poncho Villa. He fled Mexico in the early 1900's because the Mexican government was after him for helping Poncho Villa. He stole his wife, my husbands grandmother, from the Apache tribe. Does this sound familiar to anyone? We are at a lost! My husband is very interested in his Yaqui and Apache heritage and wants to find out more.
