Caetano Vierra Andrade was born in Fogo, Portugal. He came to the US at theturn of the century. He was about 8 years old, lied about his age and worked at the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe round table in Bakersfield, California. He had a brother Manuel, sister Norata and Chubina.
