I believe that the A. in David's name has NOT
been confirmed as Alexander. I had mention to Martha Clark in a phone conversation that it could possibly be Alexander, but that was just a GUESS. I may have the same hand written tree by Issac Hamm Anding given to me by Mr. C.M. Anding, Jr. who lived in Cedar Hill, Texas at the time of our meeting five or so years ago.
I have not been successful in connecting my Anding line to the John Anding Family who settled in Copiah Co., Mississippi. I would GUESS that my line is connected to the John Anding listed in Franklin Co., Ms. census. The reason for my guess is Harriet Anding who married Issac Rounsavall in Franklin Co., Ms. also settled in Henderson Co., Texas where my David A. Anding Family settled before the 1850 Census count. I would guess they were children of the John Anding in the Franklin Co., Ms. census. I have a marriage date of 2/14/1839 for David A. Anding & Susan Davis, but no location, I would guess Lauderdale Co., Ms. only because they were listed in the 1840 Census.
I would be very interested in your research and will share any I have.
Thanks for your interest.

Please see corrections (Children)& added date (2/14/1839)!
