Emanuel Anding husband of Caroline Moore

My great great grandmother Caroline Moore's first husband was Emanuel Anding. He died in 1863 in a prison camp after being captured at the Big Black River Bridge battle. Does anyone know what unit he was in? In Oct. 1864, Caroline married my great-great grandfather James.
