Yes, thank you, we have exchanged information previously. The "brains" behind my efforts has been Mrs. Carol Holt down in Estil Springs who has access to local records in Bedford, Coffee, Franklin and Moore counties. We have worked on three families in that area: Anderton, Byrom and Ray. I'm feeding my data (sometimes it seems like "force" feeding, they aren't overly enthusiastic!) to Anderton descendants here in Nashville. I also have worked on my own lines, the Vannoy and Foster families in Bedford, thus my interest in that area. It's also a 45 minute drive from my home and the area reminds me a bit of my roots in the North Carolina mountains. I have a Ray line of my own also, but no apparent relation at all to these Rays in Bedford County. I appreciate your efforts more than you might guess since I've been at this hobby for several decades now and appreciate the fact that sometimes the needle is deep into the stack and not so easy to find.
