The connection between the the articles in the N.J. Gen. Journal and Va. is Bartholomew Anderson (1706-Aft. 1751, Va.). He was the son of Cornelius Anderson(1670-1724).
Bartholomew and many others fled Hopewell, N.J. for other areas after the "Coxe Affair" in N.J. where their lands were taken away from them.
