There are two possible sets of parents in the census records for a Walter Anderson born in Pittsburgh in 1908, neither one can be certain.
One possibility would be Victor, born ca 1878 in Sweden and Hulda, born ca 1879 in Sweden. They are listed in the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census as living in McKeesport, Allegheny Co., PA. In addition to Walter a sister Rachel, born ca 1908, is also listed.
Another possibility is an Asel (Axel), born ca 1881 in Sweden and Emma, born ca 1884 in Sweden. Also listed are brothers Paul, Harry and Edward, and one sister Mildred. In 1920 they lived in Ross Twp., Allegheny Co. In 1910 I believe they lived in Minnesota and in 1930 in Venango Co., PA.
The Social Security Death Index has Walter as born July 23, 1909 and died Feb 28, 1996. last residence Mount Enterprise, Rusk Co., Texas
I suggest getting Walter's obituary. It's the best way to make sure you have the right parents. It might also list siblings.
