Rollie, a basic knowledge of Brown Co history tells the tale of the post office history, and that it was discontinued and re-established on more than one occasion.
A basic knowledge of the 1870 Brown Co census shows all 142 households enumerated have a San Saba post office, as does all the 134 households enumerated in the neighboring county of Coleman.
I hope this is helpful for those that were confused by the San Saba post office in Brown Co.
