The 1880 census for Jane Anderson's age may have been transcribed from the INDEX correctly as age 60, but looking at the actual census page shows part of the number indexed as 0 is covered by the column dividing line. Therefore, to accurately determine Jane's age in 1880, one needs to refer to other records.
Could you point out the "obvious errors" you spotted?
