Reuben G. Anderson - South Carolina - > Georgia

I am looking for additional information on Reuben G. Anderson who fought in the War of 1812 with Nash's Regiment, South Carolina Volunteers. Unsure of where in South Carolina he was from--possibly, the Pendleton District. Believe he is the same Reuben G. Anderson who moved to Lumpkin County, Georgia in the mid 1830's and died there in 1858.

He is fairly easy to trace once he reached Georgia. It is finding him in South Carolina that has proven most difficult. Other than the fact that the 1850 Census for Lumpkin County, GA shows his place of birth being South Carolina, the only other mention I find of him being in South Carolina is his listing in the War of 1812 service records. I am especially interested in anything that would more specifically locate him in South Carolina.
