Your line in Fairfax Co., VA was earlier recorded in Stafford Co., VA--earlier
still Westmoreland Co., VA back to the 1660s.You somehow descend
from a David Anderson...and your family lived near George Washington's
family both in Westmoreland (1660s) and in Stafford/Fairfax Co., VA (1740s).
You have ties to Cliftons and Carneys who were in Virginia by 1650.
11 Aug 1725.Know all men..I, David Anderson, of parish Overwharton
in county Stafford, for diverse good causes me thereunto especially
moving...do appoint my trusty and well beloved friend Robert Knowland
of Stafford County my true and lawful attorney to appear before court of
Stafford to acknowledge indenture of lease and release made between
me and John Chadwell of parish of Overwharton in county Stafford,
planter...dated 20th July 1725.Witnesses:John Hellier, George (X)

11 Aug 1725.This indenture made 19th/20th July 1725 between
David Anderson of parish Overwharton in Stafford County and
John Chadwell of afsd...by deeds of lease and release...for sum 50
pounds sterling sold 50 acres in parish Overwharton joining to the
land whereon said Chadwell now dwells being part of a patent of
800 acres granted unto David Anderson, grandfather of abovementioned
David, which is all that remains to be sold out of the patent aforesaid.
