I have an original IOOF certificate dated 1 Oct 1936, issued to “William E. Anderson”, a letter in Swedish to his mother Augusta from her sister in Sweden dated 1920, and two 1920s greeting cards to Miss M. Andersen, 1452 Springfield Ave., Chicago. I’d like to get these back to descendants or family members.
I found the family of William Andersen, age 11, in the 1920 Chicago census, with parents Edward (39) and Augusta (50). The letter from Sweden has information that the sisters came from Hagaberg, and that their father in July, 1920 was still living at age 81.
