Hi,

I'm looking for information on my great grandfather Anders Andersen. I'd like to find at least a birthplace so I can start digging through parish records.

What I know: born 21 Dec 1867 in Denmark. Emigrated 1892. Married Ane Petrea Herskind Pedersen, 17 Aug 1898 in Chicago. Died 7 Feb 1916 in Chicago.

familysearch.org confirms the above information, but the record seems to have been merged with a different Anders Andersen and the birthplace there (Gamborg, Odense, Denmark) is very likely inaccurate; I cannot him in the parish birth records for that date.
